Cherry
Creek Lodge is located just outside of Young, Arizona.
It is approximately a three to three and a half hour drive from
Phoenix, depending on the route you take. There are two different
routes to reach the lodge, one from Payson in the north and one
from Globe in the south. The exact lodge address is:

To reach Payson from Phoenix take the B-Line Highway
(Highway 87) northeast out of Phoenix. From Tucson simply follow
the I-10 towards Phoenix until you reach the Highway 87 exit.
To reach Globe/Miami from Phoenix take the US-60
east out of Phoenix. To reach Globe/Miami from Tucson take US-77
north. Turn left on US-70 and then left on US-60 just a few miles
out of Globe.
From Payson
Take AZ-260 out of Payson for approximately 30
miles until you arrive at the top of the Mogollon Rim, just past
Woods Canyon Lake. Just past mile marker 284, take a right going
south on to the Young Road. Follow the Young Road for approximately
26 miles (half is unpaved) into Young, Arizona.
You will pass the Young Post Office and Hunts Building
Materials on your left. Shortly after, take the first left at the
cattle guard onto Buck McKinney Road (unmarked), a dirt road at
a deep bend in Young road. Take a left at the first fork. Follow
the road for a few miles and take a right at the fork on to Forest
Road 54-A (note the left branch is 54, the right branch is 54-A).
Cherry Creek Lodge is three miles down the road from this point.
From Globe/Miami
From the west take US-60 past Miami to AZ-188.
From the east take US-60 past Globe to AZ-188. Follow AZ-188 for
roughly 14 miles and then take a right on to AZ-288. Follow AZ-288
for roughly 47 miles straight in to Young, Arizona. The road will
climb up and along mountain ridges, portions of which will be unpaved.
Upon first entering Young you will pass the
Antler Bar & Grill on the left-hand side of the road followed
by the Pleasant Valley Inn and Cherry Creek store up the road. Shortly
after, take a right on to Buck McKinney Road, a dirt road at a deep
bend in the road. Take a left at the first fork. Follow the road
for a few miles and take a right at the fork on to Forest Road 54-A
(note the left branch is 54, the right branch is 54-A). Cherry Creek
Lodge is three miles down the road from this point.
